Urgent notification prohibiting the operation or release of all types of unmanned aircraft systems (drones)
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued an urgent notification prohibiting the operation or release of all types of unmanned aircraft systems (drones) across the entire country. This restriction is effective from 30 July 2025 until 15 August 2025
Violators will be subject to legal penalties under the Air Navigation Act B.E.2497 and its amendments, which include imprisonment of up to one year, a fine of up to 40,000 Baht, or both
